back when soundcloud was cool,  :^),  there was this poster that went by KANNON who’d upload these really dreamy slowed-down songs that i liked a lot, but never bothered trying to sample source em. among a Trentmøller and Gwen Stefani track (Early Winter is really fkn good let’s be real) was What Else Is There? by Röyksopp sung by Karin Dreijer. that led me to Fever Ray, and eventually the What They Call Us music vid, but really just how cool Karin’s performing look is. the set and design of the music vid (and the freaky red eyes Thing) sucked me in.
